My life is busy.
Like any mom with active kids, a non-stop husband, a fixer-upper farm house and furry beasts to feed, I get a little crazy. It is a marvelous life though, and I wouldn’t change it for anything…. well, maybe a few more finished projects and a vacation for us all to the Bahamas would be nice but not necessary. I am currently living out my dream as an artist in the Pacific Northwest. It is wet and green and wonderful…. (ok I grumble about all the rain but it’s still beautiful). I live to create. I was born to make stuff, to collect, to glue and paint and DIY. I get a thrill out of finding treasures, renovating old homes and adding items to my own version of hoarding. (Of course it’s all to make cool stuff with)! My family, especially my parents, always encouraged me to seek what I felt passionate about and left me to freely navigate all my creative endeavors. I knew early on I wanted to pursue art as a career. Who knew it would take a lifetime of growing, raising extraordinary kids, building our own amazing home in the mountains, living off the grid, goat farming, and drinking lots of wine to get me to focus on artwork I could share with others.
As they say, life is a journey.
